Can I tumble a silver ring with flush mount diamonds?

Hi, first post!

   I have made a simple silver ring with a couple small diamonds flush set into it.  I have been tumbling all of my silver work in stainless shot, and would like to tumble the finished ring with the diamonds in place.

   Anybody ever do this?  Or am i crazy?
