Several years ago a friend of mine was making ceramic cabochons so I got a few from him and set them in sterling silver just to see how well the held up in rings. The did very well as far as everyday wear went in the rings and wore better than natural turquoise. I also set some in pendants and the looked great in them. I suppose that you do anything with ceramics that you do with polymer clay. The only down side I see would be weight perhaps.
